My name is Judy Polinsky. I have been an avid amateur historian for many years. My journey into culinary history for the Georgian period began at an elementary school program I was doing. Many questions were asked about life during the American Revolution. The single question that set me on this journey of research, and trial-and-error experimentation as both a gardener and a baker was “You told us what the soldiers ate, what did the Officers and rich people eat?” My curiosity piqued, a long and amazing journey began.
